The Wheel Group is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales growth, expand market share, and lead the development of customers and sales channels across an assigned territory.
This is a leadership-focused sales role requiring proven automotive aftermarket experience, strong territory management skills, and the ability to develop both customer relationships and sales teams.

TAKINGTHE WHEEL
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and maximizing profitability throughout an assigned territory.
This role takes ownership of territory performance by developing and executing sales strategies, strengthening key customer relationships, opening new accounts, and leading a network of independent sales representatives.
Success in this position requires more than maintaining existing business. We're looking for someone who understands the automotive aftermarket, knows their market, and can identify where the next opportunity is while keeping their team focused on achieving sales objectives.
The Territory Sales Manager will also work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and warehouse teams to align customer demand, forecasting, inventory, and fulfillment. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on sales leader who can balance strategy with execution and is comfortable being in the field, developing customers, coaching sales representatives, and driving measurable results.
HOW YOU'LL DRIVE THE TERRITORY FORWARD- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve company sales objectives and expand market share
- Manage and grow sales across company channels within the assigned territory
- Develop, lead, and support a network of independent sales representatives
- Build and strengthen customer relationships while actively developing new accounts and sales opportunities
- Set performance expectations, monitor results, and provide coaching and direction to support territory objectives
- Track sales activity, customer performance, and pipeline development to ensure sales goals are achieved
- Evaluate sales opportunities and pricing decisions to ensure appropriate margins are maintained
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and communicate customer demand to support inventory and fulfillment planning
- Partner with warehouse and operations teams to support on-time and complete customer shipments
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to support customer needs and overall business objectives
- Identify market trends, competitive activity, and customer opportunities within the territory
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, customer information, opportunities, and required sales reporting
- Support new product launches, sales programs, and promotional initiatives within the territory
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
