Overview
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a candidate in the area of Rehabilitation Engineering, including assistive technologies, rehabilitation robotics, wearables, neural engineering, user interfaces, neuroprosthetics, remote monitoring, artificial intelligence applications to rehabilitation science, and translation of rehabilitation technologies to clinical populations.
ResponsibilitiesConduct an independent and externally funded research program, participate in departmental, school, college, and university service, and teach/mentor trainees at various career stages.
Qualifications- Doctoral degree in Rehabilitation Sciences, Neuromechanics, Biomechanics, Neuroengineering, Rehabilitation Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related areas.
- Demonstrated excellence in scholarly activity during postdoctoral research and as early career faculty.
- Established a highly competitive independent research program or have clear potential to develop one.
- Research includes a clear pathway to translation and implementation in human clinical populations.
