QC Scientist

Overview

Bench testing that includes sample preparation, wet chemistry, standard weighs, dilutions, and training on HPLC and GC over time.

• Conduct chemical and physical analyses to support development of a manufacturable multisource pharmaceutical product.
• Provide analytical support for release of registration materials for regulatory submissions.
• Assist in analytical method validation and transfer activities.
• Perform assigned analytical tasks in support of product development, registration lot release, and pre/post regulatory submission activities within assigned timelines and in compliance with cGXP and company practices.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices; document analytical activities and results accurately and maintain data integrity.
• Follow written analytical procedures; identify execution challenges and support troubleshooting.
• Receive training on HPLC and GC and work in both Oral Dose Solids and Nasals departments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science (prefer Chemistry or Biochemistry;
  Biology, Microbiology, Physics, Environmental Science, Pharmaceutical Science acceptable with strong chemistry lab experience).
• Prior laboratory experience (academic or non‑academic) preferred; strong chemistry laboratory experience required.
• Team‑player with ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with supervision using scientific judgment and professional competency.

Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

The pay range is $24.00 - $24.00 per hour
