Lab Support Technician Job Columbus area,Ohio USA,Science

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Lab Support Technician to support Lab operations located in Columbus, OH. This position is full-time and long-term with great benefits and growth opportunities!

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to ensure that the facilities are properly maintained in accordance with GLP, ISO, and other required regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, laboratory housekeeping, receiving and putting away supplies, cleaning glassware, and inventory of assigned items.
Preparation and handling of formulations in a variety of vehicles.
Shipping and receiving of supplies.
Preparation of chemistry samples for analysis utilizing a variety of wet chemical techniques in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety policies.
Work on assignments that are routine in nature under supervision and guidance of more experienced staff.
Ensure proper documentation of all work following GLP guidelines.
Work with hazardous materials and chemicals under chemical hygiene and laboratory safety requirements.

Key

Qualifications:

Associate degree in scientific field; 1 year of applicable experience; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.
Exhibits sufficient technical knowledge to perform routine assignments following standard operating procedures.
Ability to successfully pass medical screen, including the ability to wear a respirator and other PPE, lift up to 50 lbs. and work in the proximity of hazardous chemicals.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs
