  • Evaluate holding times, calibration criteria, blanks, surrogates, matrix spikes and duplicates, laboratory control samples, detection and reporting limits, sample and quality-control associations, and other applicable quality-control criteria.

  • Prepare and review data validation reports, quality-control summaries, technical memoranda, tables, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with analytical laboratories to obtain missing information, clarify laboratory results, and resolve data-quality issues.
  • Support preparation and maintenance of QAPPs, work plans, SOPs, sampling plans, laboratory scopes of work, and other project documentation.
  • Support environmental data management, including review and updating of EDDs and coordination with EQuIS, ERPIMS, ADR, or similar systems.
  • Assist project managers and technical staff with laboratory planning, analytical method selection, data interpretation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify recurring data-validation issues and recommend training or process improvements.
  • Support environmental projects involving soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, wastewater, emerging contaminants, and PFAS.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline with sufficient chemistry coursework.
  • At least five years of directly relevant environmental analytical chemistry, environmental consulting, laboratory, or environmental data-validation experience.

  • Strong attention to detail and strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience coordinating with environmental analytical laboratories.

  • Experience with EQuIS, ERPIMS, ADR, or similar environmental data systems.
  • Experience supporting DoD, DOE, USACE, AFCEC, EPA, or other federal environmental programs.
