This position is considered a field position and will not be required to report into a physical office on a daily basis but based on operational need. Working mainly in the field, serves as primary investigator on fatality and other complex enforcement inspections. Independently performing complex and comprehensive industrial hygiene and occupational safety inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with adopted OSHA standards.

Providing Ohio public employers and employees with occupational health and safety compliance assistance. Identifying existing or potential safety and health hazards and/or facilitates compliance with adopted Ohio Employment Risk Reduction Standards in Ohio Revised Code & Ohio Administrative Code chapter 4167.

Position Specific

Minimum Qualifications:

· 12 months experience citing, interpreting, & applying Federal OSHA regulations & standards
· 12 months experience conducting air, noise, & chemical monitoring & sampling using related industrial hygiene equipment (e.g., dosimeters, sound-level meter, air sampling pumps, velometer, electrical circuit test equipment, direct reading air monitoring devices, & other equipment) Job
