, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This is a Part-Time Security Officer role with a flexible schedule and the opportunity to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Position Details- Position Type: Part Time
- Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour
- Job Schedule: Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM;
Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM;
Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Staff access control points at a retail or mall location by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials when required, managing visitor sign-in logs, and directing authorized persons to their destination.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, common areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or other policy violations. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns, and complete accurate written reports using required forms and/or electronic systems.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screen may be conducted where permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
