** Security Officer - Unarmed Rounds Specialist

** Columbus, OH** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks as needed, use a computer and/or tablet to document activity, and deliver strong customer service through clear, professional communication.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and team members by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, and exterior perimeter areas, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.

+ Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and delivery traffic, and directing persons to the proper check-in process.

+ Document patrol observations, incident details, and shift activities in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate key information during shift handoff.

* + Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.

+ Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.

+ Customer Service Experience - preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
