Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.;
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, access roads, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity.;
Control access by verifying identification, monitoring gates and doors, and directing deliveries and service vendors according to site procedures.;
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, observe and report hazards or suspicious activity, and communicate status updates using radios, phones, and/or site systems.
