Location: Columbus, OH

As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access activity support, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, operational disruptions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report security‑related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, dock spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor the location for security‑related issues involving deliveries, pickups, vehicle traffic, and/or restricted areas, and document observations, incidents, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
