Security Officer Driver Patrol Technician in Columbus, OH – You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and data center location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.79 / Hour

• Thursday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, exterior areas, and perimeter zones to help support security-related operations and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors, helping to verify authorization levels and directing individuals according to site policies.
• Support security-related procedures for sensitive operational areas by observing equipment spaces, checking doors and gates, and reporting issues that could affect daily site operations.

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
