Global Security Operations Center Operator

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, operate the Global Security Operations Center. Serve as 24/7 single point of contact across all Battelle operations. Responsible for assisting company personnel in all concerns pertaining to personal safety and security around the globe. Monitor, analyze, and take action to mitigate safety and security related risks affecting global operations. Follow procedures to coordinate and dispatch internal and external resources in response to a variety of incidents from minor localized situations to complex critical events.

Associate degree or 2+ years of equivalent work experience in Military, Law Enforcement, Government, Corporate Security. Prior experience in a security operations center or similar environment highly preferred. This can include a commercial alarm-monitoring center, law enforcement operations center, security command center, engineering systems control or similar monitoring and customer service. Ability to use logic and reasoning to reach quick conclusions and approaches to problems.

Ability to multitask and maintain composure, courtesy, tact, and effectiveness in a fast-paced work environment. Comfortable with the latest technology, and eager to learn new tools and new innovations. Must be willing to work in support of a 24/7/365 operation that includes the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Eligibility to obtain and keep a Secret level security clearance.

Must have successfully completed new hire security training.

Battelle is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $38,800 - $52,400 per year, in addition to our comprehensive benefits package. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location and market conditions.
