** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.

+ Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for staff, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols, while helping to maintain order within the location.

+ Support security-related operations involving sensitive healthcare environments by observing for policy violations, reporting hazards or suspicious behavior, and following post orders for escalated situations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
