- Identify & analyze informational databases, spreadsheets & reports allowing information to be easily exchanged & understood.
- Prepare intelligence reports, products & briefings for presentation to all public safety partners.
- Maintain association with & facilitate exchange of information between federal, state & local law enforcement agencies & taskforces for disposition of criminal activity &/or intelligence information on criminal activity (e.g., narcotic trafficking, illegal dark web activity).
- Coordinate research activities with other departmental units &/or outside agencies.
- Gather locally generated information (e.g., criminal activity, suspicious activity reporting) based on time‑sensitive & emerging threats.
36 months experience conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &/or statistical research techniques.
Option 2- Completion of an undergraduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs or related field.
- 12 months experience conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &/or statistical research techniques.
- Or equivalent to the Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
Completion of a commercial cryptocurrency training OR certification in a cryptocurrency tracing tool(s).
