Security Officer Driver Perimeter Watch in Columbus, OH – an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, performing routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remaining visible to discourage security-related incidents. This driving post is ideal for someone who values customer service, clear communication, teamwork, and acting with integrity every day.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and security‑related policies at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or designated restricted areas; verify credentials or visitor information as directed; and document security‑related observations, incidents, and/or daily activity in required reports.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
