One full-time Security Monitor to work 8hrs per day, Monday through Friday on a 186 day calendar. Responsible for monitoring building security and for assisting with student safety and discipline.

• Maintains visible presence in and around the building
• Maintains student safety on and between school campuses
• Monitors students in the building throughout student day; i.e., checks for hall passes, inappropriate behavior, etc.
• Monitors restrooms for smokers, inappropriate behavior
• Monitors designated areas outside of the building for smokers, inappropriate behavior
• Secures building
• Refers students for inappropriate behavior to proper administrative personnel
• Assists administration and processes and investigates theft and vandalism reports
• Participates in the Crisis Response Team
• Attends inservice and training programs
• Performs other duties as assigned
