How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology data center by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with established site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations and coordinate with appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security‑related activities accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
