Dock & Door Install Technician **Company Vehicle

Job Description

We are seeking a Dock & Door Installer to join our team! You will install, maintain, and repair loading dock and overhead doors and related equipment.

• Use safe work practices during all job duties
• Troubleshoot general mechanical issues with dock levelers and overhead doors.
• Read electrical voltages and diagnosing electrical issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic parts.
• Perform routine maintenance including greasing, adjustments, and inspections.
• Log work notes and parts used on iPad tablet.
• Perform repairs in the field at customer locations.
• Use extension ladders, scissor lifts, and power tools.
• Work independently or in small team as needed.
• On-call (after hours) duties and local travel required.

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Construction background is a plus.
• Basic math skills.

• Physical requirements necessary include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, most of the time with infrequent opportunities to sit.
• Must be able to lift or exert a force of up to 50 pounds or greater and be on your feet during the entire work shift.
• Ability to work in wet or humid conditions, as well as extreme cold or heat.
• Occasionally may be required to perform work in the evenings or on weekends.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical, welding, electrical industries.
• Clean driving record and valid Driver's License.
• High School education or equivalent.
• Drug screening & background check.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
