You’ll be responsible for installing complete residential comfort systems—from single-family replacements to new-build projects. Expect daily work that includes equipment placement, custom sheet metal work, refrigerant handling, system commissioning, and ensuring every job meets code and exceeds customer expectations.
Core Responsibilities- Set up and connect residential HVAC units (gas furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, air handlers, etc.) per design specs.
- Fabricate and install duct runs, transitions, dampers, and registers for balanced, efficient systems.
- Conduct pressure tests, leak checks, startup procedures, and performance verification on every installation.
- Maintain tidy, professional job sites and submit accurate paperwork/digital reports daily.
- Engage directly with customers to walk through the installation process and confirm their comfort with the finished work.
- Respond to occasional after-hours or weekend needs to support peak-season demand.
- 4+ years hands-on residential HVAC installation experience (apartment, condo, and single-family homes).
- Active EPA 608 Certification required.
- Clean, valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED; HVAC technical training or certification a big plus.
- Proficient at reading plans, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Basic tech comfort for using tablets/apps for job tracking and communication.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and handle outdoor elements.
- Competitive total pay package averaging $34–$40/hr with commissions on completed jobs.
