Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Residential Maintenance Technicians for projects located in the Columbus, OH area
. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $23-30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Residential Maintenance Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep.
- Complete interior and exterior repairs such as drywall patching, painting, fixture replacement, and basic appliance servicing.
- Conduct minor plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.
- Handle basic electrical work, including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
- Perform general carpentry and repair work, including doors, trim, cabinets, and drywall.
- Maintain exterior areas including repairs on ramps and railings.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards.
- Ensure all properties are safe, functional, and compliant with local housing codes and regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare units for new occupants, including cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and lock changes.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as HVAC filter changes, smoke detector testing, and weatherproofing.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
- 3+ years of experience in residential property maintenance including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC.
- Ability to type minimum 36 WPM.
- Pass a drug screen, and background check.
