Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise crews on structured cabling and fiber installation projects
- Coordinate daily project activities and ensure work meets quality and safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve telecom/fiber-related issues
- Pull, terminate, and test fiber and Cat6 cabling
- Serve as the main on‑site point of contact for customers
- Track materials, manpower, and project progress
- Complete documentation (timesheets, work orders, reports, etc.) accurately
- Interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce compliance standards
- Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with project execution
- Hands‑on experience with fiber installation, termination, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of Cat6, fiber, and cable systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Outdoor and on‑site work (OSP projects)
- Long‑term stability on a multi‑year datacenter project
- Opportunity to grow into Project Lead roles
- Work with a growing telecom team with consistent project pipeline
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00/hr.
