Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential HVAC Installer to join a growing team in Columbus, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive hourly pay, steady work, and long-term career growth. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing residential HVAC systems and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
- Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment in homes
- Ensure all installations meet local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards
- Perform system start-ups, testing, and basic troubleshooting after installation
- Accurately complete job documentation and work orders
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- 1+ year of experience as an HVAC Installer (residential preferred)
- Working knowledge of HVAC tools, equipment, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer-focused mindset
- Additional HVAC certifications or trade school training
- Experience with new construction or retrofit residential installs
- Brazing, refrigerant charging, and duct modification experience
