Splice various types and sizes of fiber optic cable, including single-mode, multimode, stranded, and ribbon cables, with a strong focus on accurate ribbon splicing;
Analyze and troubleshoot basic technical issues related to fiber optic installations, connectivity, and performance;
Review, interpret, and work from maps, drawings, blueprints, schematics, and testing documents to plan and complete fiber work accurately;
Perform daily tests, checks, and routine maintenance on splicing and testing equipment to ensure proper operation and reliability;
Conduct optical continuity and conformance testing using tools such as OTDR and power meters to verify quality and integrity of fiber links
