Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Technician, Installation Technician

Position Summary

Connesso is seeking a skilled Technician to work in a Project Management and technician capacity within the residential and light commercial low-voltage industry. This role requires a well-rounded individual who is comfortable with both the installation and project design aspects of low-voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor and be adept at delivering and explaining AV installation proposals to clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project specifications.

• Technical Installation
  :
  Execute the installation of low-voltage systems, including audio/video equipment and related technologies. Ensure installations meet industry standards and are completed on schedule.
• Project Management
  :
  Collaborate with our sales and design team to implement custom AV systems that meet their needs and specifications. Prepare and present project proposals, including detailed explanations of system components and functionality.
• Client Communication
  :
  Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the installation process. Clearly articulate project details, timelines, and expectations to clients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
• Team Collaboration
  :
  Work closely with other technicians to ensure alignment on project goals and execution. Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians as needed.

• Experience
  :
  Proven experience in the residential low-voltage industry, including both installation and project design. Familiarity with AV systems and technology.
• Communication Skills
  :
  Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and accessible manner.
• Technical Skills
  :
  Proficiency in low-voltage installation techniques and best practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
