We are seeking a skilled Apartment Facilities Maintenance Technician who takes pride in delivering quality service and creating a well-maintained community for residents. This role is responsible for completing a wide range of maintenance and repair work while supporting the overall appearance, safety, and readiness of the property.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Complete service requests and work orders in a timely manner based on priority
* Prepare apartments for new occupancy, including unit turns and make-ready work
* Perform repairs and maintenance in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC systems
* Support preventive maintenance activities as assigned
* Assist with exterior and structural maintenance needs across the property
* Help maintain grounds and common areas to support a clean and welcoming environment
* Coordinate with vendors, schedule service as needed, and inspect completed work for quality
* Perform other related duties as assigned
** Schedule
* * This position typically works Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an on-call rotation approximately every nine weeks.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Performs maintenance service and repairs in a specialized technical and skilled trade for the organization's facilities. Ensures maximum efficient operations of facilities and equipment, as well as the care of all support equipment. Ensures that all systems including utility infrastructure are fully operational and inspected in accordance with accepted standards and practices, including preventive maintenance schedules. Remains familiar with and aligns with all Federal, States and local safety and environmental laws and regulations.
* LANDSCAPE/DAY SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
Assists in the coordination and performance of landscape maintenance duties;
Assists in maintenance of mechanical equipment and irrigation systems as advised by a supervisor;
Assists with coordinating and performing snow removal.
* STRUCTURAL:
Serves as part of a team responsible for carpentry, masonry, and painting functions as related to facility maintenance.
* ELECTRICAL:
Serves as part of a team responsible for the layout, assembly installation, testing, repair and adjustment of electrical distribution and wire communications systems as well as electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment and wiring such as motors, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers and transformers.
* HVAC & HVAC OPERATIONS:
Serves as part of a team responsible for HVAC maintenance. Assists with customer service requests including but not limited to: hot calls, cold calls, odor complaints.
