Job Overview
Maintenance Technician II – Drywall & Advanced Maintenance Specialist (PSH Portfolio) – Full‑time; competitive pay and benefits.
Location:
Columbus, Ohio.
- Complete unit turns with minimal contractor support in PSH properties.
- Perform advanced drywall installation, patching, texturing, finishing, sanding, and repair work.
- Handle carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general maintenance repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
- Address water damage, wall restoration, and interior repair needs efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain common areas and occupied units.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in compliance with company standards and building codes.
- Maintain maintenance documentation, inventory, and supply tracking.
- 5+ years of residential or apartment maintenance experience.
- Strong drywall experience – primary requirement.
- Advanced skills in drywall finishing, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues.
- HVAC experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete high‑quality unit turns.
- High school diploma or GED required (technical training or certifications are a plus).
- Valid driver’s license required.
- On‑call rotation required (24/7, including evenings, weekends, holidays).
- $60/month mobile phone allowance provided.
