Job Description Summary
The Fence Installer position is part of a dynamic team that are industry specialists trained to understand the security, accessibility, and image requirements of our customers. You will take direction to help prepare jobsites and use hand and power tools to prepare, remove and install all types of fences per spec requirements. As a field employee you are the face of the company and we rely on you to maintain a sense of professionalism and focus on customer service, even while under pressure to meet tight deadlines and strict security requirements.
This is a physically demanding job that is mostly working outside in various weather conditions. Complete training will be provided to the successful candidate.
- Safely setting up and taking down temporary fencing and associated products at customer sites
- Completing operational paperwork (JHA reports, truck inventory logs, site checklists, etc.) as directed
- Taking direction from Lead Fence Technician/Operations Manager
- Assisting in navigating to sites to ensure the crew arrives in the safest and most expedient way possible
- Working in a safe and productive manner, remaining constantly cognizant of site safety
- Ensuring workplaces and company vehicles are clean and free of garbage and hazards
- Always acting in a professional manner with fellow employees and customers
- Maintaining a professional appearance
- Knowledge of general tools and equipment (drills, power washers, post driver, banding equipment, etc.)
- Ability to physically handle (lift, carry, etc.) heavy fence panels (approx. 50-80 lbs.)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions while doing heavy labor.
- Must have transportation to get to job sites each day.
- Experience operating a fork-lift and a one-ton truck preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to take direction and supervision
- Motivation to "get the job done" even when managing a heavy workload and tight deadlines
- Ability to accurately and thoroughly complete paperwork
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
$18.99 - $27.30
Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
