Maintenance Mechanic - Plumbing

As a Maintenance Mechanic focused on plumbing, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing and water-based building systems critical to daily facility operations. Your responsibilities also include supporting general building maintenance such as HVAC-related systems, boilers, compressors, lighting, and minor electrical work in a pharmaceutical distribution and office setting.

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems, including domestic water systems, process and laboratory water systems, sanitary and storm sewer systems, sump pumps, and grease traps.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace valves, piping, fixtures, regulators, pumps, and related components.
• Support building systems including HVAC hydronic systems, compressed air, and utility piping systems.
• Respond promptly to service calls, alarms, and emergency situations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation using a CMMS.
• Perform all work in accordance with SOPs, safety procedures, and applicable codes.
• Coordinate with vendors, engineers, and other skilled trades as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial building maintenance with a strong emphasis on plumbing systems.
• Demonstrated senior-level maintenance mechanic experience.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to complete a background check.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, laboratory, or manufacturing facilities.
• Journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification.
• CMMS experience (Maximo, Archibus, or similar).
• Working knowledge of mechanical or HVAC systems.

• Pharmaceutical distribution center with office space.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 ft, and work in mechanical spaces.

• Week 1:
  Sunday – Tuesday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Week 2:
  Sunday – Wednesday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
