What You’ll Do
  • Focus on installing and programming Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Additional experience with Structured Cabling installation and manufacturer’s certification is a plus.
  • Position will be based out of our Canton, GA office and projects are scattered around the Southeast – travel is required.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA) and have a proven track record of working with all trades on construction sites to appropriately schedule daily activities.
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced team environment and interface regularly with Project Managers and Project Engineers.
Who You Are
  • Possess a diverse knowledge with a wide range of low voltage systems.
  • Ability to lead installers and subcontractors, if in a supervisory position.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearances as needed for federal projects.
  • Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
  • Complete and submit all required task-related activity and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and repair network and controls systems.
  • Isolate and test equipment to diagnose system and wiring faults.
  • Ability to operate safely and promote a safety culture within the organization.
  • NICET Level II certification is preferred. A combination of experience and the willingness to obtain NICET certifications will be considered.
  • Ability and willingness to perform shift or night work as required by the project.

  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications is required.
  • Quality-oriented and self-motivated with a “Safety First” mentality.
  • Use good judgment when making decisions.
  • Communicating in writing and with verbal clarity.
  • Competency with Microsoft software (primarily Excel, Outlook) is a plus.
  • Ability to operate a smartphone, tablet or computer for timekeeping and labor tracking.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and pass established pre-employment screening.
  • Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements
  • The ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • The ability to transfer 100 lbs. a distance of 12 feet with the help of another person.
  • The ability to work outdoors in diverse environments.
  • The ability to ascend and descend ladders and other elevated structures.
  • Must be able to work from heights from an elevated aerial device.
