Description
Maintenance SuperintendentCompensation: Starting at $28.85/hour
Job Type: Full-Time
About the RoleAre you a skilled maintenance professional who takes pride in a job well done and enjoys leading projects to success? We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Superintendent to oversee all physical aspects of the building. In this role, you will be the driving force behind property upkeep and contractor management. WhatYou'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Utilize your expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair building infrastructure and equipment.
- Oversee all property maintenance, including inspecting and signing off on the work of subcontractors, cleaning companies, and flooring installers.
- Conduct daily building walkthroughs to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for tenants, staff, and visitors.
- Work closely with the Site Manager and City Manager to report job progress, manage daily supply needs, and keep the building fully stocked. Maintain a neat, organized workspace and consistently adhere to all company safety and health policies.
- Starting wage of $28.85 per hour
- Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance available the 1st of the month following 30 days
- Take ownership of your day-to-day workflow while making a difference.
- No two days are the same—balance hands-on repair work with high-level vendor coordination.
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table (Requirements)- Strong foundational experience in general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting).
- A strong commitment to safety.
- A proven ability to work independently, manage your own time, and take ownership of the property.
- Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift/carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with basic computer skills, including email and video conferencing for team check-ins.
- Exceptional communication skills when reporting to management and interacting with community members.
