Foreman Plumber​/Pipefitter

Act as a leader to manage and direct a team consisting of apprentices to journeyman performing mechanical and pipe fitting projects for industrial and commercial construction customers.

• Perform thorough preventative maintenance on large commercial units and industrial units.
• Operate and maintain large motors up to 500 hp and pumps, electric pumping units and auxiliary equipment.
• Process quality control requirements and remedial measures in dealing with process malfunctions and emergencies.
• Maintain wastewater treatment and pumping plant equipment.
• Perform physical and chemical tests related to treatment plant control.

• 4‑10 years of experience.
• Technologically proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook; knowledge of estimating and/or scheduling software is a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self‑motivated, organized, and a team player.
• Current driver’s license with no major infractions.
• Ability to perform algebraic and geometric computations.
• Read meters, gauges and other recording instruments; maintain operating records.
• Understanding of hazards and safety practices around high‑voltage equipment and moving machinery.

Must complete an OSHA 30‑hour training within 30 days of employment, funded by Area Energy & Electric, Inc.
