Generally weekend work, but some weekday evenings required.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated High Voltage Electrician to perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance on various building electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of electrical power systems and combustion equipment. This role requires hands‑on expertise in electrical testing, repair, and preventative maintenance, along with a commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Installation, Repair & Maintenance: Perform hands‑on installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of a wide range of building electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Electrical Power Systems: Maintain, repair, and install electrical power systems, including low, medium, and high voltage circuits, ensuring they meet operational standards.
- Combustion Equipment Support: Provide electrical support for combustion equipment, including diesel and natural gas generators, as well as automatic transfer switches, ensuring continuous, uninterrupted power supply.
- Equipment & Components Management: Work with a variety of electrical equipment, including power transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and cables, to ensure their optimal operation.
- Electrical Testing: Conduct tests on electrical systems, such as power factor, insulation resistance, functional operation, and more, to verify system integrity and compliance.
- Test & Calibration: Use electrical and electronic test equipment, such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters, to perform precise tests and calibrations on electrical systems.
- Technical Documentation Interpretation: Interpret technical documents, such as floor plans, equipment schedules, and single‑line diagrams, to ensure accurate and effective task execution.
- Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area, adhering to company standards and safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safe work practices and uphold a secure work environment, in compliance with company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements. Report any policy, procedure, or guideline violations to the immediate supervisor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ductor
- Megger
- CT Ratio & Saturation
- Infrared Camera
- Knowledge of the following equipment:
- Circuit Breakers
- Low, Medium, High Voltage - LM/MV/HV
- Transformers
- Switchgear
- Motors
- PT's & CCVT's
- Multi‑Talented
- Must be able to lift in excess of 75 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be authorized to work in the US
