Overview
Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Candidates must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Responsibilities- Perform repair tasks related to the building shell and all integrated building systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain systems as required by regulatory agencies.
- Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system malfunctions, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders and outside vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Manage stock, inventory, and order materials.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established procedures for hazardous materials handling and disposal.

- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Two years of commercial experience, required.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license.
- Proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy.
- Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
- Certification from a trade program, preferred.
- Miscellaneous installation or repair certifications from vendors, preferred.
