Mr. C Refrigeration provides installation, emergency repair, and preventative maintenance services for commercial and industrial refrigeration, cold storage, and HVAC equipment. We're looking for experienced HVAC/R technicians who can confidently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial equipment while providing dependable service to our customers.
What You'll DoAs a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician, you'll work independently in the field servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
- Identify the root cause of equipment failures and complete necessary repairs
- Test systems after repairs to ensure safe and proper operation
- Communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations clearly with customers
- Complete service documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
- Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned service area
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC/R service experience preferred
- EPA Certification required
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
- Technical school HVAC/R training or equivalent field experience preferred
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
This is a hands-on field position requiring the ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, and pull; lift or move up to 50 pounds; climb ladders and work at elevated heights; and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
