Commercial Roofer & Laborer

Progressive Roofing seeks Commercial Roofers & Laborers to join our Construction team. In this full-time, field-based role, you'll assist with installation, reroofing, maintenance, and repair of commercial roofing systems on industrial, institutional, retail, and government facilities. Responsibilities include tear-offs, material handling, basic tool use, and maintaining a safe, clean jobsite while working  provide hands-on training, a safety-focused, team-oriented culture, and opportunities to advance into lead, supervisory, or specialized technical roles with a leading national roofing contractor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, reroofing, maintenance, and repair of commercial roofing systems
• Perform roof tear-offs, material handling, and site preparation under supervision
• Safely use hand and power tools, following all company and OSHA safety standards
• Set up and maintain fall protection, ladders, and scaffolding per safety guidelines
• Support foremen and roofers in installing insulation, membranes, and flashing
• Maintain a clean, organized jobsite and properly dispose of debris
• Inspect work areas for hazards and immediately report safety concerns
• Participate in on-the-job training to learn advanced roofing techniques
• Travel to various industrial, institutional, retail, and government job sites as needed
• Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and craftsmanship on every project
