Drain Technician

Buckeye Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled Drain Technician to join our customer-first, family-oriented HVAC team serving central Ohio. In this field role, you'll perform residential and light commercial drain cleaning, diagnostics, and minor repairs using snakes, jetters, and camera equipment. You'll troubleshoot clogs, backup issues, and drainage concerns, explain findings to customers, and present clear solutions with integrity. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and professional, with experience in drain or plumbing work and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial drain cleaning using snakes, jetters, and related tools
• Diagnose drain and sewer issues using inspection cameras and locating equipment
• Complete minor drain and basic plumbing repairs as needed
• Explain findings, options, and pricing clearly to customers
• Document work performed and findings in service tickets or digital systems
• Follow all company, safety, and OSHA guidelines on every jobsite
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in clean, working condition
• Collaborate with HVAC and plumbing team members on complex jobs
• Provide professional, respectful customer service that aligns with company values
