Plumber

R.T. Moore Co., Inc. is seeking a Plumber I to support residential and multi-family construction projects. This entry-level role assists with installing, rough-in, and finishing plumbing systems under the guidance of experienced plumbers. Responsibilities include reading basic blueprints, laying out piping, setting fixtures, soldering, and performing pressure tests while following safety and building codes. You'll work on active construction sites, handle tools and materials, and help maintain a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of residential and multi-family plumbing systems
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and layout drawings
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install pipe and fittings
• Set and connect plumbing fixtures and trim
• Support pressure testing and inspection of systems for leaks
• Follow safety regulations, plumbing codes, and company standards
• Maintain tools, materials, and a clean, safe work area
• Assist senior plumbers and participate in training and apprenticeship activities
• Communicate job progress and issues to foremen or lead plumbers
• Transport and stage plumbing materials on active construction sites
