Position Summary

The Maintenance Technicianisresponsibleforthereliability ,safety,andperformanceofIMHFragrance'sliquid-filling,packaging,andfacilityequipment.

Thishands-onroleperformspreventivemaintenance,troubleshooting,repair,installation support,andequipmentimprovementsthatprotectproductionuptimeandproductquality.

Thetechnicianalsomanagescriticalspareparts,supports after-hours needs,andtrainsdirectlywithmachinevendorsonnewandevolvingtechnology.

• Maintain,diagnose,andrepairfragranceandliquid-filling equipment,including fillers,crimpers,cappers,pumps,conveyors,labelers,coders,compressors,andrelatedpackagingsystems.
• Respondquicklytoequipmentfailures,determinerootcauses,completesaferepairs,andcommunicateequipmentstatusandrecoverytimingtooperationsleadership.
• Perform mechanical,pneumatic,electrical,sensor,motor,and control-systemtroubleshootingwithinthetechnician'sdemonstratedtrainingandqualifications.
• Support equipmentsetup,changeovers,adjustments,line trials,installations,commissioning,andproductionstartup.
• Partnerwithproductionand Qualitypersonneltoensurerepairsandadjustmentsprotectproductquality,fill accuracy,packaging integrity,andsafeoperation.

• Develop,execute,anddocumentpreventive-maintenanceschedulesforfilling,packaging,utility,andfacilityequipment.
• Maintainaccurateservicehistories,inspection records,downtime information,manuals,drawings,and equipment-specificmaintenanceprocedures.
• Inspectequipmentforwear,leaks,loose connections,guarding concerns,andotheremergingfailurerisksbeforetheyinterruptproduction.
• Recommendandimplementpracticalimprovementsthatincreaseuptime,equipment life,changeover performance,maintainability,andoperatorsafety.
• Use recurring-failureanddowntimedatatoprioritizecorrectiveactionsandsupportcontinuous-improvement projects.

• Identify,source,andorderreplacementparts,tools,consumables,andcriticalspareswhilebalancingurgency,quality,cost,andleadtime.
• Createandmaintainanorganizedpartslibrarywithclearpartnumbers,equipment associations,storage locations,minimum quantities,andreorderpoints.
• Monitorpartsusageandavailabilitysocriticalsparesareonhandforhigh-riskequipmentandcommonlyoccurringfailures.
• Coordinatewithequipmentmanufacturersandserviceprovidersfortechnicalsupport,repair services,warranties,upgrades,andreplacementcomponents.
• Participateinvendor-ledtechnicaltraining,includingtravelorscheduleadjustmentswhenrequired,andtranslatelearningintointernalproceduresandoperatorguidance.

• Followandenforcelockout/tagout,electrical safety,machine guarding,PPE,chemical-handling,flammable-liquid,andsafe-work requirements.
• Maintain clean,orderly,andaudit-readymaintenanceworkspaces,tools,parts storage,andequipmentdocumentation.
• Supportfacilitymaintenanceneedsinvolvingutilities,compressed air,lighting,docks,doors,andotherbuildingsystemsasassigned.
• Escalate safety,quality,compliance,orreliabilityriskspromptlyandstopworkwhenconditionsareunsafe.

• Hands-onmaintenanceexperiencewithfragrance,cosmetics,personal-care,beverage,pharmaceutical,chemical,orcomparableliquid-filling machinery.
• Demonstratedexperienceperformingpreventivemaintenance,equipment troubleshooting,repair,andmaintenancedocumentationinamanufacturingenvironment.
• Workingknowledgeofmechanicalsystems,pneumatics,pumps,motors,sensors,conveyors,andbasicindustrialelectricalsystems.
• Experiencesourcingandorderingpartsandmaintaininganaccurate,organized spare-partsinventoryorpartslibrary.
• Abilitytoreadequipmentmanuals,diagrams,specifications,andtechnicaldocumentation.
• Willingnessandabilitytoworkflexiblehours,respondtoafter-hoursserviceneeds,andparticipateinanon-call rotation.
