bout the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Module Installation Supervisor to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of modular installation activities for large-scale data center projects. This individual will oversee the safe movement, preparation, lifting, connection, and installation of prefabricated modules while ensuring alignment with construction schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities- Lead all module installation preparation and field execution activities.
- Coordinate with construction management, operations, engineering, supply chain, logistics, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop installation plans covering manpower, equipment, lifting requirements, safety controls, and scheduling.
- Manage installation crews, daily work assignments, labor utilization, and productivity.
- Coordinate cranes, rigging, material handling equipment, trucking schedules, and site logistics.
- Conduct daily planning meetings, safety briefings, and installation readiness reviews.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
- Drive quality standards by verifying module readiness, installation workmanship, inspections, and punch-list completion.
- Monitor key performance indicators including safety, schedule performance, labor productivity, quality, and rework reduction.
- Train and develop installation personnel while promoting accountability, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 8+ years of experience in construction, modular installation, manufacturing operations, industrial projects, or field operations.
- Previous leadership experience supervising installation crews, field trades, subcontractors, or manufacturing teams.
- Strong understanding of lifting operations, rigging, cranes, site logistics, manpower planning, and installation sequencing.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in fast-paced project environments.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety programs, and hazard mitigation practices.
- Experience with modular construction, DfMA, prefabrication, data centers, MEP systems, or industrial projects is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and reporting tools.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's, Technical Certification, or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
