Assured Glass Service is hiring a Door Fabricator for our shop team. This role preps and assembles aluminum storefront
doors and installs door hardware for commercial glazing projects.

What We Offer

Assured Glass Services is a family-owned commercial glazing subcontractor with three generations of experience and a strong pipeline of work, including more than a year of upcoming projects. With between 20-30 employees at any given time, estimating, submittals, procurement, and construction work closely together throughout the life of a project.

Our work can be seen throughout the Columbus area, including projects for Columbus Zoo, Ohio State University, Columbus Metropolitan Libraries, and the Westerville Police and Court Facility.

In addition to a starting salary of $30.00 per hour, we offer:

· 120 hours of paid time off annually, plus paid holidays

· Health insurance after 60 days - individual PPO currently $90 per bi-weekly pay

What You’ll Do

  • Perform hardware preps on aluminum storefront doors in stock lengths using Rhino Fab and shop tools
  • Assemble aluminum storefront doors and install door hardware, including hinges, closers, panic hardware, and locksets
  • Inspect doors and hardware for proper fit, function, and quality
  • Read blueprints and hardware schedules to ensure accurate preps and installation
  • Assist with general fabrication work when door hardware needs are limited
  • Assist field crews with hardware installation on job sites as needed
  • Organize and maintain door hardware inventory and shop work areas

What You Bring

  • Previous experience installing door hardware on commercial aluminum doors
  • Experience in a commercial glass or door fabrication shop preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and hardware schedules
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willing to travel to Columbus, OH daily
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
