Commercial Roofing Foreman

Progressive Roofing is seeking a Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead crews on commercial roof installation, reroofing, maintenance, and repair projects. In this role, you'll coordinate daily work, read plans, and ensure quality craftsmanship across a variety of roofing systems. You will enforce strict safety standards, train and mentor crew members, and communicate closely with project managers. This position offers hands-on work with complex, large-scale projects, a strong safety culture, and clear growth paths into higher-level supervisory or project management roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial roofing crews on installation, reroofing, and repair projects to meet quality and safety standards
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and work orders to organize daily tasks and crew assignments
• Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members, promoting craftsmanship and accountability
• Ensure OSHA and company safety procedures are followed, including use of PPE and fall protection
• Inspect roofs, identify issues, and coordinate materials, tools, and equipment on-site
• Communicate progress, issues, and needs with project managers, superintendents, and clients
• Document work completed, including measurements, photos, and daily reports
• Maintain a clean, secure, and efficient job site in varying weather conditions
