Progressive Roofing is seeking a Single-Ply Commercial Roofer to install, repair, and maintain single-ply roofing systems on commercial and industrial projects. You will work on TPO, PVC, and EPDM systems, including layout, membrane installation, flashing, insulation, and detail work. This field role requires strict adherence to safety standards, reading plans, operating hand and power tools, and working at heights in varying weather.

Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain single-ply commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM)
- Prepare roof surfaces: tear-off, cleaning, insulation, and substrate preparation
- Install insulation, cover boards, and vapor barriers per specifications
- Layout and secure membranes using mechanical fasteners, adhesives, or ballast
- Install flashings, terminations, edge metal, and roof penetrations to manufacturer specs
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies, including fall protection and PPE use
- Operate hand and power tools, roof cutters, heat welders, and safety equipment
- Read and follow basic plans, specs, and supervisor instructions on job sites
- Inspect completed work for quality, watertightness, and compliance with standards
- Coordinate with foreman and crew to meet project schedules and productivity goals
Required Skills
- Single-ply roofing installation (TPO/PVC/EPDM)
- Roof tear-off and substrate preparation
- Insulation and cover board installation
- Heat welding and membrane seaming
- Flashing and detail work around penetrations
- Use of roofing hand and power tools
- Understanding of OSHA construction safety
- Working at heights and ladder/scaffold use
- Blueprints/specification interpretation (basic)
- Leak detection and basic roof repairs
