Dakota Mechanical — Now HiringDakota Mechanical is growing, and we are looking for a skilled and dependable HVAC Equipment & Duct Installer to join our team. We take pride in providing high-quality HVAC installations and service while creating a professional, supportive work environment for our employees.
As an HVAC Equipment & Duct Installer, you will be responsible for installing residential and/or commercial HVAC systems, setting equipment, installing ductwork, and ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to Dakota Mechanical’s high standards.
Responsibilities:- Install HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components
- Install, modify, and seal duct systems according to plans and job specifications
- Perform equipment change-outs and new construction installations
- Read and interpret HVAC installation drawings and layouts
- Properly use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC installation equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Work collaboratively with installers, technicians, and project managers to complete jobs on schedule
- Provide quality workmanship and attention to detail on every installation
- Previous HVAC installation experience
- Experience with duct fabrication and installation
- Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying conditions
- EPA certification or HVAC training is a plus (but not required)
