Summary
Must have a valid Class A CDL Driver's License. Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types. Haul small equipment such as skid steer loader to and from job sites and work as a laborer within a crew. Perform skilled labor tasks including operating light equipment, reading basic plans or grade stakes, and assisting skilled trades (e.g., carpenters, operators, pipelayers) as needed.
Must be able to follow specific directions; perform a variety of duties which may often change; work within standards of accuracy; repeat tasks according to set procedures and safety requirements.
- Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations.
- Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, compactors, and grinders.
- Assist with the setup and operation of light equipment such as skid steers, small excavators, or trenchers as directed.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation according to specifications.
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, pipelayers, equipment operators) with tasks requiring precision or specialized technique.
- Perform basic concrete work, including forming, pouring, and finishing as directed.
- Read and interpret basic grade stakes, markings, or plans to support layout work.
- Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Ability to understand and comply with safety considerations as set herein and as directed by the foreman/supervisor.

Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma preferred, and on-the-job training required. Two years of forestry work experience required. Prior experience with skilled labor tasks (equipment operation, concrete work, or trade support) preferred.
