Job DescriptionThis role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial production equipment in a job shop environment. You will work hands-on with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. The position involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, with a strong emphasis on safety and continuous skill development.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot mechanical systems in an industrial or production environment to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Inspect, repair, and replace hydraulic components, ensuring safe and efficient operation of hydraulic systems.
- Inspect, repair, and replace pneumatic components, maintaining reliable performance of pneumatic systems.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on production equipment, including diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to support accurate diagnostics and repair activities.
- Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Support press maintenance activities, including inspection, adjustment, and repair of press equipment.
- Conduct electrical maintenance tasks as needed to keep equipment operating safely and within specification.
- Work safely at all times, following established safety procedures and contributing to a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with plant leadership and team members on the production floor to prioritize maintenance tasks and support operational needs.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical systems in an industrial or production environment.
- Proficiency with hydraulics, including inspection, repair, and replacement of hydraulic components.
- Proficiency with pneumatics, including inspection, repair, and replacement of pneumatic components.
- Ability to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on production equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
- Experience with press maintenance and electrical maintenance.
- Strong commitment to working safely and following safety procedures.
- Skill in PLC troubleshooting.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with belt drives.
- Familiarity with heaters used in industrial or production environments.
- Experience using and maintaining grinders.
- Press knowledge, which is a significant plus.
- Interest in upskilling and expanding technical capabilities in an industrial setting.

WorkEnvironment
