You’ll keep residential systems running safely and efficiently while collaborating closely with our HVAC Service Supervisor, Operations Management, and dispatch team.

What you’ll do Service, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling equipment.

Inspect ducting; ensure company tools and materials remain in safe, working order.

Wire and commission complete residential HVAC systems.

Troubleshoot, recommend, and perform repairs to resolve functionality issues.

Conduct start-ups; test and record performance metrics.

Inspect systems and notify dispatch/customers of any concerns.

Explain completed services and repairs to dispatch/customers.

Coordinate your daily schedule with the office.

Order necessary parts prior to appointments; arrive prepared.

Transport and properly account for parts, materials, and tools.

Complete tablet/paperwork accurately and on time.

Debrief each service call with dispatch/customers and submit documentation.

Maintain site cleanliness upon completion.

Keep your company vehicle clean and organized.

Follow all performance standards, code of ethics, and safety procedures.

Wear floor-saver covers on footwear in customer homes.

Minimum requirements

High school diploma or GED2+ years’ residential HVAC experience EPA Certification Solder/brazing skills

Effective English communication (verbal and written)
Beginner computer skills; comfortable with computer/laptop/tablet

Basic internet and email proficiency (Microsoft Outlook)
Valid driver’s license

Availability for overtime on short notice; occasional weekends

PreferredHVAC trade school certification2+ years of experience in residential HVACStrengths that set you apart

Where and how you’ll work Primarily at occupied homes and construction sites; limited office time Drive to/from work locations

Exposure to equipment, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials, and odors

Indoor/outdoor work in all weather (heat, rain, cold, wind) with proper PPEPhysical abilities

Operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift

Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs Climb, bend, crawl, kneel, crouch regularly

Work at heights; climb ladders and stairs

Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective vests, gloves, safety-toe boots)
Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods

Hear, understand, and distinguish speech/other sounds to use phones/equipment safely

See clearly at varying distances and peripherally with normal depth perception (with or without correction)
Convey information verbally

Input data via keyboard or 10-key on handheld/computer

Reach overhead; signal; grasp; hold; lift; turn; push/pull objects and tools
