What it takes

High school diploma or GEDEPA Type I or EPA Universal certification

Solid mechanical aptitude; skilled with testing and repair tools

Prior appliance repair experience preferred

Ability to follow directions and adhere to process for consistent quality

Comfort using a smartphone for tasks such as ordering parts

Valid driver’s license for the state(s) in which you work Travel readiness up to 100% and flexibility to work variable hours with required overtime

Ability to read and apply technical content to solve problems and complete jobs Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to read, write, and speak English Physical readiness: constantly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs; frequently up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs Constantly reach outward; handle and finger objects; stand, walk, sit, and type; frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, stoop, climb, and crawl;
