About the role

We’re seeking Independent End Point Assessors (IEPAs) to join our End Point Assessment team to deliver the following standard:

• Level 4 Employability Practitioner

This role could be a great fit if you have experience working as an Employment Coordinator, Careers Advisor, Case Workers, Community Support Advisors, Employment Advisors or similar positions.

In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping the future workforce by assessing apprentices at the final stage of their journey. You'll use your industry knowledge and professional expertise to evaluate performance, maintain quality standards, and support learners in demonstrating their competence.

Whilst this is a flexible worker role, during the period of allocated work we require availability between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday to be able to carry out reviews. Please make sure you can commit to this before applying.

• Delivering EPA in line with the Level 4 Employability Practitioner standard
• Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
• Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
• Communicating with apprentices, ITP’s and employers on EPA and grading

• A recognised Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA, or equivalent) or working towards
• Recent and relevant experience within the employability sector, careers guidance, or related support services, gained within the last three years. This may include working with organisations such as the Jobcentre, DWP, or other employment and training support agencies
• Have current networks and sources to maintain your own employability / careers advice hands on skills to have ongoing CPD
• Excellent IT skills and be competent with using systems such as Teams, Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
• A full, clean driving licence and have flexibility to travel across your region for face-to-face assessment delivery
