Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). Candidate must have solid capability in developing robust backend services using core Java, advanced Java concepts, and Spring Boot while contributing to scalable application design.
Rate Range: $39/hour to $41/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Develop high‑quality backend services and application components using core Java, advanced Java concepts, and Spring Boot.
- Implement and enhance Spring Framework modules while ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to support application performance and data integrity.
- Utilize mocking frameworks such as Mockito or JMock to create reliable unit tests and maintain strong test coverage.
- Contribute to modern CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git Hub Actions and Harness to support automated builds and deployments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine requirements, integrate services, and support end‑to‑end application delivery.
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 6–8 Years of experience required.
- Candidate must have strong hands‑on expertise in core and advanced Java concepts, Spring Boot, and SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
- Must have practical experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git Hub Actions or Harness, along with proficiency in mocking frameworks like Mockito or JMock.

Pay Details:$39.00 to $41.00 per hour
