Description

In this position, the successful candidate will design and implement complex IT solutions that are in line with the enterprise architecture roadmap. The successful candidate will:

• Deliver well-designed, quality software in either an agile or waterfall environment
• Work on a team to ensure successful delivery of solutions that add value to Huntington's colleagues and customers as-well-as achieve business objectives.
• Understand business requirements.
• Communicate clearly with business and technology stakeholders to develop a proposed solution.
• Be the primary technical team owner of projects and project technical deliverables.

• Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.
• Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
• Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.
• Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.
• May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.
• May serve as project leader for specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related field/experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience working with technology teams to deliver business and technical solutions leveraging your skills with Java, Web Sphere, .NET, Rest API, Fuse, Kafka and JSON
• 5+ years of experience and proven understanding of Dev Ops, continuous integration, container-based applications, cloud deployment architectures.

• Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them.
• Experience in working on initiatives that involve business segments.
• Expert understanding of agile concepts and an agile mindset. Working knowledge of Scrum and Kanban delivery frameworks.
• High level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationships.
• Ability to problem‑solve to produce quality deliverables on time and on budget.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels and explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to multiple layers of peers and leadership.
• Experience with Fraud Technology
• Hands‑on software development experience in Java with knowledge of Object Oriented Design.
• In‑depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Experience with J2EE, Spring Boot, Web Services, REST API development and consumption
• Agile development, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with a RDBMS like Oracle or MySQL
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Experience with implementation of Microservices using Spring Boot and CI/CD tools on Jenkins and Kubernetes.
• Experience with development of RESTful web services using JAX‑RS and used Swagger for REST API documentation.
• Build and maintain code repositories and code migrations using CI/CD strategies (GIT, SVN, CSV, Jenkins).
• Experience with creating and maintaining architecture for Restful API using Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with writing SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers in databases via Oracle and DB2.
• Have used Swagger and API testing tools
• Experience with data structures and algorithms for time and memory complexity reduction
• Have experience with JWT mechanism for authentication, authorization, and data exchange.
• Experience with Apache Maven Build tool to automate the build process for the entire application
• Experience with GCP infrastructure
• Hands‑on experience with GCP Products like Cloud Run , Terraform , Big Data , Big Query
• Possess 3+ year of professional experience in leading development team members and partnering with business and operational partners
